Upon your arrival in Jaisalmer, our tour representative will escort you to the hotel for a quick check-in and freshen-up. Later, a tour guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the city. You'll visit the iconic Sonar Fort, built using yellow sandstone and famously known as Sonar Kila due to its golden hue. The tour also includes visits to the famous havelis, such as Patwa Haveli and Nathmal Haveli. You can opt for a boat ride at Gadisar Lake as well.
In the evening, you'll be dropped off at the desert camping site, where you will be greeted traditionally. After a refreshing tea/snack break, get ready to enjoy a camel ride in the dunes, watching the beautiful sunset. Later, you'll enjoy a folk music and dance performance, followed by a Rajasthani cultural program during a gala dinner. You'll spend the night in luxurious Swiss tents under the stars.
After a delicious breakfast, visit the Tanot Mata Temple, renowned for its miraculous role during the Indo-Pak war. From the watchtower at the International Border Post of India-Pakistan, you can witness the 1000 km long border fencing. Next, head to the Longewala Museum, where you can see the standstill tankers of the Pakistan Army and commemorate India's triumph.
